Me

Hi, I am Ottmar Gobrecht, a database developer living in Munich, Germany and this is my development blog - mainly about Oracle APEX and PL/SQL.

Since December 2021 I am a member of the Oracle APEX development team. The posts are my own and do not necessarily reflect Oracle’s opinion.

I’m a bit active in open source development - you can find my projects on GitHub and of course here on this website.

My Motivation

In recent years, I have often been pleased to find solutions, information and open source code that others have provided on their blogs and community sites. Writing down my own experiences and making my code available in the form of open source projects is my way of giving something back from what I have received before.
